Soroush leads Human Data at xAI, where he measures the rapidly growing capabilities of frontier models. He designs the evaluation and human-feedback programs that determine what the world's most advanced AI systems can actually do. His path there ran through multiple contract engagements with G2i, the engineering network serving frontier AI labs.
Before xAI, he spent three years at SOTI as a Senior Data Scientist building production machine-learning systems for enterprise software, and held machine-learning research posts at the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management (deep reinforcement learning for derivatives hedging), the Technical University of Munich (interpretable graph neural networks for disease prediction), and Sharif University of Technology (medical imaging under weak supervision).
He holds an M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Toronto and a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Sharif University of Technology. At Homier, he leads every engagement personally: the same evaluation-first discipline used to measure frontier models, applied to AI systems for Canadian organizations.
